Ryan Wares | Chief Technology Officer
Ryan Wares is an Army Veteran and a former Military Police officer with combat deployment experience. He later served more than a decade as an EMT and instructor, developing a calm, disciplined approach to high‑pressure environments. Ryan specializes in IT infrastructure, cybersecurity, surveillance systems, and secure digital operations, and he continues advancing his technical education to strengthen MAVS’ long‑term capabilities. As CTO and third in command, he leads the organization’s secure systems architecture, digital protection protocols, and technology strategy to ensure a resilient, mission‑ready operational environment.
Skarl Alexis | Chief of Security & Tactical Operations
Skarl Alexis is a U.S. Army Veteran and seasoned security professional with extensive experience in tactical operations, emergency response, and protective logistics. After his military service, he built a distinguished career supporting federal security initiatives within the Department of Defense before transitioning to the civilian sector. Skarl later owned and operated a private security firm specializing in high‑risk environments, threat mitigation, and executive protection. As Chief of Security & Tactical Operations and fourth in command of MAVS, he oversees all safety protocols, emergency preparedness, and tactical readiness across the organization. His discipline, reliability, and operational expertise make him a critical pillar of MAVS’ security posture.
Alex Calo | Chief of Construction & Projects
Alex Calo brings more than 20 years of construction experience to his role as Chief of Construction & Projects. As the founder of a successful construction firm, he built a reputation for integrity, precision, and consistent delivery across residential and commercial projects. His background spans project management, client coordination, and hands‑on technical oversight, giving him a comprehensive understanding of the industry. At MAVS, Alex leads all construction planning, facility development, and project execution, ensuring every environment built for veterans and their families is safe, functional, and built to last.
